I'm so angry b/c I cannot find this song I really liked. I watched a music video of it when I was in france, and I remember the tune, but since I don't speak much French I don't know the lyrics or name of the song.

Anyway, the video was animated, and it had a red donkey/horse that had blank eyes, and there were two bugs that went into the donkey's eye and then came out of his boot, and a guy dressed like a cowboy who was singing the song and (I think) playing the guitar. The whole video took place in a bar/saloon. There was also a waitress with straight blond hair and a serving plate. The back ground was mostly white. If anyone has any idea of what I'm talking about, please respond. Not knowing this song has been killing me for forever.

I was in france on a student exchange trip in May 2006, and there was this french song that kept playing on the radio all the time, and I absolutely loved it!

The only thing I remember is the refrain melody, which I've very amateurishly tried to play on my guitar today: http://rapidshare.com/files/18047864/hvemfrasangerdet.wma

It was obviously popular since it played a lot, and it was sung by a girl.
I'd appreciate it so much if anyone were able to tell me the song/artist name

Just because I don't reply often to the messages posted here...it doesn't mean I'm not trying to help you. The tune you played sounds familiar to me...but I just can't get it yet...
What kind of a voice did the female singer have? Was it soft? Was it strong? Who does she remind you of? Was the song slow? fast?
Since you mentioned May 2006...it's highly likely that I might know it...When you played the tune...was that the correct speed of the song?
I'm so sorry I can't help you right away...there are millions of tunes out there...sometimes I feel they're all the same

In regards to the donkey song...I don't know what it is.

This is really bugging me, as I first heard it around four years ago, bought what I thought was the song, only to discover that I'd bought something horrifically bad. Strangely though, I was in Paris on Monday, eating my lunch, and I suddenly thought about this song. Literally two minutes later, it came on the radio. The waitress had no idea what it was though.

If anyone can name that tune, you'll make me very, very happy!

Hmm, I'm not sure, but David Hallyday sings "Ange étrange" (it was released in 1999 on his album "Sang pour sang"), it's got the male voices, angels, and strings at least . Here's the YouTube video where you can listen to it to see if it's the right one; I also have the song if you're interested.

I've found it!

It's 'Les Parking Des Anges' by Marc Lavoine. I've always thought that I wouldn't like him. Shows how wrong preconceptions can (sometimes) be.

I found a song sing by Alizze (i don't think this one is the one we all know about)..It's called

Tout L'or Des Hommes.
The voice of the girl/woman sound more like Celine Dion ( a very powerful voice), the song have some beats that make it danceable.

So, i Don't know if over there in French you guys have another artist called alizee or what
